Outside the projected team totalHow this team is pickedBudget, availability and projected points
We choose a 15-player squad and valid starting XI together to maximise the next gameweek’s projected points, including the captain’s double points. The projections are the same unrounded values used on the FPL projections page, using all finalised 2026/27 appearances. Both fixtures count in a double gameweek; blanks score zero.
The squad contains two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards, with at most three players from one club. The starting XI has exactly one goalkeeper, at least three defenders, at least two midfielders and at least one forward. Current purchase prices apply to all 15 players.
All 15 players must be available and non-flagged in the latest FPL snapshot. Starters must have xMins above 60, at least one historical start and a complete projection. xMins is average minutes per sampled appearance; it does not measure the probability of starting. Projections assume an appearance and do not model future injuries, rotation, automatic substitutions or vice-captain replacement.
Bench points do not contribute to the main objective. When projected starting scores are equal, we prefer higher projected bench points, then lower squad cost, with a consistent player-ID tie-break. Bench players have no minimum playing-time requirement; missing projections display as unavailable. The vice-captain is the highest-projected remaining starter, and outfield substitutes are ordered by projected points.
The next official deadline determines the gameweek. The team updates with the existing data refreshes, and changing your budget recalculates the selection.
